Stingers are an inventory item added in the 9/10/2018 update. When used, it will grant x1.5 bee attack for 30 seconds. It can also be used to obtain Vicious Bee (250 stingers from the Vicious Bee Egg Claim). Stingers are also used in many crafting recipes.

Ways to Obtain

Defeating Rogue Vicious Bee always grants stingers. The number of stingers dropped depends on a number of factors.
A rare drop from a Rage aphid, Armored aphid, scorpion, or spider.
Capturing certain amounts of commando chicks will drop stingers:
- 3 captures give 1 stinger and other items.
- 12 captures gives 3 stingers and other items.
- 30 captures gives 10 stingers and other items.
- 40 captures gives 10 stingers and other items.
Buying it from the Stinger Shop: 1 stinger per 10 tickets.
A rare drop from leaves in the Cactus Field.
Donating certain items to the Wind Shrine (Ex: ant passes) and receiving specific badge rewards (Battle, Clover, Spider, Cactus or Rose).
Completing certain quests (Bee Bear, Black Bear and Spirit Bear).
Redeeming certain valid codes:
- Using the code "Mocito100T" (Gives 3 stingers and other stuff).
- Using the code "1MLikes" (Gives 1 stinger and other stuff).
Winning it from the Mega, Night or Extreme Memory Matches.
Buying certain packs from the Robux Shop (None currently available).
Very rarely, as a Cub Buddy gift.

The methods below are no longer possible.

Receiving Brown Bear's Egg Hunt 2020 quest will give 5 stingers and a Rage Bee jelly.
By giving a present to Panda Bear or Stick Bug during the 2018 Beesmas Event.
Buying the Night bundle in Bee Bear's Catalog for 1,000 Snowflakes gives 25 stingers.

Looting from Rogue Vicious Bee

The Rogue Vicious Bee can be summoned by touching or being close to a spike in a field. It has a higher chance of spawn during the nighttime, and is guaranteed to spawn when using a night bell. Depending on the level, if it's gifted, and if it's the first defeat of the day, a Rogue Vicious Bee can drop 1-20 stingers.

If non-gifted:

Level 1-3 = 1 stinger.
Level 4-6 = 2 stingers.
Level 7-9 = 3 stingers.
Level 10-12 = 4 stingers.

If gifted:

Level 1-3 = 6 stingers.
Level 4-6 = 9 stingers.
Level 7-9 = 12 stingers.
Level 10-12 = 15 stingers.

A daily bonus of 5-7 stingers is also given for the first Vicious Bee defeated that day, with a cooldown of 22 hours after the daily reward. This also applies to Gifted Vicious Bees, having their own separate daily bonus.

There are 6 fields where the Rogue Vicious Bee can spawn at. They are:

Clover Field.
Spider Field.
Cactus Field.
Rose Field.
Mountain Top Field.
Pepper Patch.

Trivia

The old hotkey for stingers, 'U', was removed a few days after the 9/10/2018 update because people were repeatedly unintentionally using them.
It is used to activate the Supreme Star Amulet passive, "Star Saw".
