My 2021, Tacoma, TRD, double cab, 3.5L. Is suppose to be delivered, Sept 13-15.
I am thinking of cancelling information technology, because I am afraid that it volition not pull a travel trailer..

If you have the tow package your truck volition pull it just fine. With the tow bundle tacomas can pull almost 6500 pounds max. Sorry to hear about your health bug.

I take a Geo Pro 19FD. I pulled information technology with my 2018 TRD Pro Manual truck. I practise take a Magnuson SC installed, which helps.
I accept seen posts here nigh people pulling bigger RVs with stock. But it will depend as well on the altitude and going uphill.
Also be sure to have a good weight distribution/sway bar system. I have a Blueish Ox BXW0650 TrackPro.
I have only traveled once on flat surface.

I have a 2017 offroad doublecab and I pull a Sonic Lite SL169VUD coming in at 3800# dry and 430# natural language weight. I utilize a reese pro weight distribution hitch which includes a friction sway bar and information technology tows no issues at all. I have loaded up the trailer to 4200# with zero difference in towing. Run it in S4+ECT and yous'll exist practiced to get. I have towed over the cascade range and through the columbia plateau with no issues either style. Don't expect to haul ass going up mountains but otherwise you'll be good.

You should be fine . I'm rolling downwards the road around 8100# with my Gulf Stream TT , gear and truck . No tow package when purchased new in 2008 . I added everything and then I could tow !

Aye you're fine. But watch the payload of your truck (different than towing capacity). A hitch weight of ~409lbs should mean you have anywhere from 500-700lbs for bodies, gear, etc. IN your truck/bed.

Nothing really else to add, just also confirming that you'll be fine and the quoted comment generally covers everything.
Don't be afraid to become the RPM'southward up above 3000 and shift down to S3 or lower if you're going upward hill and it seems like the transmission can't pick a gear, then shift dorsum upwardly to S4 one time yous've crested the colina.

Weight distribution hitch helps a ton with our little trucks.

I have E2 Equalizer WDH with the square bars and tow a Grand Blueprint 17MKE that weighs well-nigh 5,100. I have been in 30-40 mph headwinds that when I changed direction became cross winds. you can feel the wind pushing the trailer and truck but they move together. I never felt uncomfortable. I too have the KD Max tune which helps on the power.
I take a NO-BO with nigh the same numbers and it pulls fine
This is it
2021 Flagstaff E-Pro 19 FD, same unit of measurement every bit the Geo-Pro. Total hither most 3800 with Due east-2 Equalizer hitch. Hooked upwardly with 770 miles on the odo. No problems, do not expect whatever, towed with with an '18 4R earlier this pickup, all good.

Hey all. I'grand new to TW so I'm still mostly lurking and learning. I've got a 2019 trd sport with OME three" , OME leaf pack, (
ARB Old Human being Emu three Inch Lift Kit (Medium Load) - OMEKIT-004)

285/70/17 toyos in pro comp wheels. I added a K&N intake just recently.
I'grand wondering the same thing as the OP and hoping I didn't reduce my towing capacity with my setup. Any insight would be helpful. I'll mail pics presently.

ops original question was a while ago. What exactly are you asking? Did your elevator and/or heavier tires subtract your towing capacity? Yes and no, you lot added weight to your rig so information technology's overall weight is now increased which lowers your full weight max. I take the same lift and run 285/75/xvi's on stock wheels and tow a #3400 trailer no problem, by rig fully loaded without the trailer comes in at #5320 concluding I checked

Exactly my question, thanks for the response. I'm looking into the MKE17 & Rockwood mini lite trailers. I adopt to accept dual axle trailer but weight is the obvious business organization. I appreciate your input, it gives me conviction. I don't have any armor or additional weight so I'm thinking I'm skillful to go.
